hyperproc.atmos.aerosols

Source-derived reference

Generated from the current hyperproc 0.1.2 checkout.

Implementation: hyperproc/atmos/aerosols.py. Signatures, defaults, docstrings, and expandable source are extracted statically; the module is not imported or executed. Names beginning with _ are implementation details, not a stable public API.

Use the function signature as the authority for individual parameter defaults and return annotations. Original docstrings sometimes group parameter names or wrap return descriptions across lines; these descriptions are preserved rather than inferred or rewritten.

Aerosol models each look-up-table engine can use.

sRTMnet is trained on one aerosol (continental) and cannot vary it. 6S selects one of its built-in models by number; libRadtran starts from aerosol_default (Shettle rural boundary layer, background above 2 km) and can switch the boundary-layer type to another Shettle haze. The keys below are what correct(aerosol_model=...) accepts.

SIXS_AEROSOL = {'none': 0, 'continental': 1, 'maritime': 2, 'urban': 3, 'desert': 5, 'biomass_burning': 6} module-attribute

LRT_AEROSOL = {'rural': None, 'continental': None, 'maritime': 4, 'urban': 5, 'tropospheric': 6} module-attribute

AEROSOLS = {'sRTMnet': ('continental',), '6s': tuple(SIXS_AEROSOL), 'LibRadTran': tuple(LRT_AEROSOL)} module-attribute
